Thanks to all who commented :thumbsupanim: Yep, its certainly pay back time for all those years of shift work, no more 5 am alarm calls for me. 30 yrs of being "billy no mates".....watch what you say to him, he's a copper!! No visits to the pub on warm summer evenings when your on night shift!! and dealing with some scumbag thief at 5.40 a.m. when your due off at 6 and are totally knackered and have to return for 9 a.m to get the said scumbag before a magistrate with all the paperwork done, Retirement has its advantages, may as well take em, the big clock is ticking  regards, Jim

Nice going Jim, just rub it in why don't you :D

Bikes looking good - bit more Oommph than your last ride, eh?

Got out & about meself this afternoon for an hour or so on the NC700. Only a 70 mile loop, testing the wee beast on some of my favourite local roads (hardly a stright bit on the whole route = :D ). Suspension is defo harder than any of my other rides, but I didn't get launched off of the seat at all, so not too bad. Very flickable due to the lowish weight located low down and the combination of 17" F & R wheels and road rubber made for some interesting lines being taken.

Out again tomorrow, over a longer loop. Lets see how the bike takes to very gritty roads :eekicon:
