wee run to clear the head.

Hi all, I took a ride out on the Elefant today, popped in past Lowflyers for a chat. Was good to see John and shoot the breeze.
An old friend of mine I hadn't seen for a few years died in a bike accident midweek, this had played on my mind and felt the urge to take a bike out (something about proving you're still invincible?)
Thanks for the chat John, thanks to your missus for coffee and biscuits, it was appreciated.
The bike ride was good, cleared the mind, Fiona noticed I was a bit down, today has Brightened my spirits. It's a funny old game!

RIP Jockey Ogston, a bright star in the biking community, he'll be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear about your friend Jim.
Can't blame you for wanting to clear your head with a ride.

We were out on the bikes today and I found my mind wandering and thinking about Frad, sad stuff but still brought a smile to my face remembering him. Hope you can do the same for your friend at times too.

Aye, Fiona mentioned Frad last night when we were discussing my state of mind.

We're a funny breed us bikers.

But the old Elefant managed to cheer me up no end!

Keep it shiny side up folks.

Hi Jim,

saw in the paper that a guy in his 50s had been killed on his bike, odd that the Audi was also travelling South..

know where your coming from.. first outing on the Bike so... careful but afraid the RD03 got the better of me and I redlined it a few times over to Huntly, cup of tea at the daughters and a kiss from each of the grandkids and a long loop back via Dufftown then the Cabrach, slowed to a stop to watch a bird of prey hang motionless on the breeze, not sure what it was , bigger than a kestrel, not a buzzard , where's Steve when you need him...:).... good first ride of the year... been 'off' the bike for too long, forgot what a real tonic it is...just to ride

as you say we are a strange breed... keep safe.. keep smiling
