I never quite got the Royle Family. I could tell it was good and I tried watching, but it never really hit the spot with me. I had to endure the Mary Poppins film - Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson. Sicky sweet, Anne loved it. I had wanted to watch the Hobbit but missed the start and that was that.
