Planning on attending the UKGSer event in May @ Dent, in the "posh" campsite
I'll let you know how much better, or not , the site is compared to the V bomber meet on the side of that hill at the other end of the village

Bloody grumpy old soup spiller [emoji23]Had enough of rules at that shite campsite in Wales last year, forget the name now but it was bad, no radios, no fires, no loud noise.
Andy.
Sorry to hear that Nick. The campsite in Banham is applewoodholidays.co.ukJust so you peeps don't think I'm shirkin' ! Ain't much around Soho in the way of camping and I've no knowledge/never camped in the south. Also unfortunately my dad (who some of you have met at the Ace) pasted away last Monday, so I'm unable to get involved for a little while longer.
On a positive note. My favourite bike which I sold a couple of weeks ago has turned out to be too big for it's new owner. So.....................I'm buying it back next Saturday.I never got round to importing/registering it (lazy), which he has done. Same money...RESULT !
Edit - There's a good place in Banham Norfolk (next door to a Zoo and a couple of minutes from Snetterton race track) that me 'n cabbage went to once with ATR can't remember the name though ?
AppleWood is a great site, stayed there a lot over the Years, it's a mainstay for the ATR group too.
I was going to say that during the night it sounds like the 'animals' are in your tent, but that is probably what will happen anyway [emoji16]Can we go to the zoo ?
10 years since national at Dent
Phil should remember it well [emoji13]

No that was the Bomber Run.Was that the time when V arrived late only to find young Phil had succumbed to the "wee drams " ?
So funny
Sounds lovely, what facilities are within walking distance (pub, cafe, shop etc)?
