I am beginning to wish I had never started this.

Tick, tock, whatever. :rolleyes2: ;)

C'mon Andy, you should know by now the sort of piss taking that occurs on here.

They're all just jealous. :mockery22:

Tick ;)

Can you tell what it is yet? :)

No prizes as it is pretty easy to identify.

Andy.

My guess would be a BSA, but sure which model.

Though it might be a late-ish model because that rear hub looks a bit like a QD one to me.

Phil, at least it's not a Kawasaki. :D

1967 BSA A65T Thunderbolt, comes with a load of history, dating certificate, MOT's back to 1998, workshop manual, BSA parts book and a lot of receipts for work done in the past, as well as the original log book. It needs a wee bit of TLC and those American style bars will have to go. Mechanically it is good, new rims/spokes and electronic ignition which makes firing it up a doddle. Just need to get the leather jacket, white socks and an open face helmet with matching goggles now. :D

Andy.

Looks like you've bagged a corker there Andy. :thumbsupanim: Just be careful with that single leading shoe front brake.

You're right, those handlebars just have to go. Might mean the control cables end up being a bit too long mind. Or then again, they might just be the right length. ;)

Leather jacket, open face lid, goggles, white silk scarf and sea boot socks will be required. :D

Having owned and ridden a BSA A65 Lightning Clubman for 26 years I knew it was a BSA by the back wheel

Not spoiling any fun so I abstained from replying

Nice one Andy

I fitted a spin on oil filter that sat beneath the back of the engine near the main stand

2 new words spring to mind......dribble.......and when your first emergency brake is required.....PANIC....lovely looking bike Andy
