Putting the feelers out, anyone looking to head into Edinburgh when at the National?

Sent from my rotary phone using fat fingers

Do you mean on the way down, way back or, erm, during ? :p

Apologies for not posting this earlier, (must be an age thing) I spoke to the site manager on Friday and he said it will be OK if folks turn up on the Wednesday. :thumbsupanim:

I think Tone has forgotten to put his name down, at least I hope he's coming because I'm following him now :)

Won't be me this time either, I'll just be happy if I can get the bike together before then. Going to be a bit last minute whether it all works out or if I have to throw in the towel, so to speak. ;)

If you mean off road....its Scotland so nowt official. If you mean road, then you some of the best biking roads in the world are on your doorstep. Difficult to pick out a duff route.

I'll be there Andy and Bob. Dont know Kelso but I can see Hadrians wall, Lindisfarne, Kielder forest road, Dere Street (ridden that a few years back on the dirty bits), Berwick, not far away. Quite fancy St Andrews golf museum (sad I know). I am sure our Lowland cousins have some special plans? Deano is coming as well.

I've had a quick look at the tide times for Holy Island over the rally weekend and they don't really work out . . . . . . unless of course we want to send Vader over and leave him there over-night, to help him find himslef of course :D .

Keilder is on my list of "wanno-do's", but I have faith in the rally organiser in that he will provide a HUGE list of roads/route to ride and things to go and see . . . . . . no pressure Andy ;)

Looking forward to this little gathering - not done a "National" since the Kirkby Stephen meet.

Now, do I fit lumpy tyres or not? :rolleyes2:
