Christmas Run Salisbury Plain Tuesday 27th Dec

Just know I have brand new tyres on. There'll be 30 miles on them by the time I get to Warminster! Nothing too cheeky planned I hope :)

Twas a tad parky when I set off at 07.30, beautiful morning once the sun came up though. Here I am just south of Bath on my way to meet the others at Warminster...

After a warm up and a sausage sandwich at the services we set off across the Plain towards the old village of Imber which is only open a couple times a year. There was hardly anyone there at 10.00 so the church was shut but when we passed through later the place was heaving.

We carried on across the Plain, you needed to keep your eyes peeled as some of the surfaces were covered in frost and plenty of icy puddles to crunch through......

After a coffee in Tidworth Richie headed back by road and Tony and me retraced our path back across the Plain via some muddy bits :ridebumps:

Nice one lads, good to see you getting out and about at this time of year, looks a little chilly though:ride:
