Nice.

Standard sized garage? Shouldn't be too much of a problem, I've had 5 bikes (not mine) in one box, that gets to be a bit of a squeeze but it's certainly doable. So you can go at least one more. :D

Nice machine

There is something about the VFR in silver - makes it look like the whole machine is hewn out of one lump of alloy, to my eye's anyway

Chap in work has an '03 machine - had it from new and is really stuck trying to find a suitable replacement. They do seem to be "keeper" machines, for those that take to them.
My attempt at "bonding" with one left me feeling well out of my comfort zone, such was the velocity required to get the machine to begin too feel like it was "in the zone" :eekicon:  :rolleyes2:

Yeah, they do get a move on Steve, deceptively quick too.
It's one of those bikes that seems to grumble itself into life, you look at the speedo and get a shock!

Better get some stickier tyres on the Tiger then....

Nah, you're safe for now

Got to learn how to get it round corners properly first [emoji23]

Ah... the gentlemens express....Nice one Ian. Spin it up over 8000 revs and listen to the howl and be suprised at how it puts the power down. If the build quality is the same as the earlier version it will last well. I liken them to a quality swiss watch

7000rpm and it comes alive [emoji16]

VTEC transition on the latter models is smooth, just a change in exhaust note and an increase in urgency, 3rd gear overtakes see you hitting the ton without even trying!!! [emoji6]

Just tweaking it to my liking now

VTEC, a sledgehammer to crack a small nut in the way only Honda can.
IMHO they lost a bit of character from the earlier gear cam motors but then gained a bit when the vtec chimes in but then you're knocking on 3 figure territory [emoji3]

Will you do us a pictorial 'how to' when it comes to valve check time, theres a good chap[emoji8]

My old 750 still feels a bit of proper quality kit when I swing a leg over.

Valve check time?

I'll be paying someone to do that.
I think it's a cams out a minimum of 3 times [emoji23]

Personally I'm of the opinion the VFR should be gear driven cams but I'll live with the VTEC to have a newer machine

Twice.

Unless any need adjusting then it's three [emoji3]

Ironically, it would've been easier if it had gdc's....

Ian have a look at the Ducati multistrada 1200. Its fast , scary, bonkers and can do the miles. The new Ducati multistrada adventure is very sweet.
I find myself riding Sharries more and more.

Tempted J but they're still a bit pricey for me

Looks nice that mate.

I'm getting bored with adventure bikes now, I'm thinking a big cruiser, 1800cc might be my next bike.

I reckon a big cruiser would suit you Craig

Just don't go all YMCA and get a Harley [emoji23]

There's not much in the adventure market that floats my boat at the moment, some interesting bikes been launched at the recent shows though

Going to be interesting having a nosey round at the NEC
