WOW, what a great idea this forum is, Just changed my BMW F 650 Funduro for the Triumph Tiger 885i, needed a bit more power to haul my huge 17 stone bulk around the Andalucian mountains where I live. Look forward to contributing and maybe even meeting up with some of you on your visits to Andalucia, Spain. regards, Jim

Yep, same one Ian,(fun in the sun) we've crossed swords before :)) just changed the Funduro for the Triumph, nowt wrong with the Fundy, but spotted the one owner 15000 mile full Triumph service history bike at a dealer in Granada who also took the Beemer PX (he sold it in 4 days, great bike) he did me a good deal. It was your post on F650 site that prompted me to join here, good luck with the project, great idea. Regards, Jim

I agree, I had been told by people who had owned a tiger that they were really good bikes and so far I am very pleased I did the swop, its fitted with newish Metzler Tourance tyres and they really instill confidence, I had Anakee 3's on the Funduro which were a great tyre but took a bit of getting used to after the original Trailwings. Ive just ordered an aftermarket centre stand from Wemoto, the lean angle on the side stand worries me, especially if its windy, a bit bolt upright for my likeing, keep going outside to see if the bike is not lying on the ground(god forbid), should improve the ease of maintenance. regards, Jim

Hello Jim and welcome to Big Trailie. I saw your post on f650 and was sorry to hear you'd swapped your Funduro, but hope your new Trumpet does well for you.
