Our Rides

And Keep it clean!!!! Lol
Well if you are not on FB, here it is. 2011 CBR600RR with just 1500 miles on it. It's absolutely mint  More too come
Here we go again -:D
I've sold my project ZZR1100 as I never get time to play with it, too many toys. My Varadero is off to the dealers as they offered a good part ex & no interest from other mediums.
PX price agreed for the AT.....deposit paid for the..........ticko! :-)
Well, it’s happened again (1st time was my last XRV750 – the Green one). Chatting with a local garage mechanic some 3 weeks ago and he asks what I’d pay for a 1995, 1 owner 600 Transalp that’s got 29k miles on the clock . . . and it has full...
There not all exactly off-roaders but here’s a few pictures anyway
In the last month, sold a mint AT, bought a shitty AT and also about to put a classic on the road this weekend too, but what ?
As those that kinda know me, I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes the modern electronics. Not just on bikes either but in daily life generally - mobile phones/hand held computing/tracking device is one example So you can imagine my reactions...
F8GS #4 Steve T
Since I have nicknamed the BMW R1200RT the Death Star, I feel I ought to give the V Strom a nickname too. I thought X-wing, since it's small and not on the Dark Side. Or maybe not... A few updates follow.
Nipped out for a quick hurl, seeing as last weekend was full of wedding confetti and BBQ’s  :thumbsupsmileyanim: This thumper is very much to my liking :-D Steve T 8-)
A mate is buying a new Tracer & selling his Varadero & a KTM Duke. If Anne’s come for a spin we’ve used the CBR but it’s not ideal at our age (haha) so a reasonably price lumpy thing was called for. Enter Vara stage left, “ooh I like that & it’s...
Noticed a wee damp patch under the Transalp this morning. Having a look I noticed a rather conspicuous coolant coloured (bright pink) droplet on what I think is the outlet pipe of the water pump. Bikes not been used for a few weeks - shame on me...
Right, I'm either getting too old or been used to the Transalp for too long, but I've fitted bar risers to Eile. The bars, in the standard position, seemed to be an awful long way away. Also, Rachel noted that as pillion she was much further away...
Felt strange not having a Honda in the garage, so when this one came up locally a few weeks ago I just had to have a look-see ;) And the rest, as they say, is history :D Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my 1995 Honda VFR 750 . . . . . . 23...
Pete, saw this and thought of you :D Many other elderly vehichles on display as well at a local vintage rally . . . . . . . Kleines Kettenkraftrad HK 101 Willy's jeep, with a gas firing home made 0.5" Browning (think bird scaring gas gun...
I've had my 650 Transalp for about 7 years, and 40,000 odd miles. What would you suggest as a suitable, up-to-date, successor? A new Africa Twin would be exceedingly nice, but, being realistic, I should be looking for something lighter and less...
