That worked out well . For most of us anyway!!. The weather was kind to us: warm and dry in the day but a touch of frost on Friday night - the campfire was closely huddled around and we got through 4 sacks of logs. Much warmer on Saturday night - partly on account of the sack of coal Andy bought that soon saw a huge pile of glowing coals that were still hot in the morning.
Cumbria Twin -Richard was the first faller on the tracks taking a harmless rumble in a stretch of slippery overgrown twin track. The other faller was Bandit & son -Maurice & Jack who had a front wheel slide in a muddy bit by a logging site. Even though the bike needed to be lifted off Jack there was no damage to bodies but the left hand fairing panel on Maurice's transalp was pretty much totalled. Duct tape, some zip ties, and bit of leverage on the subframe got it back in place enough to ride it directly back to the campsite. Maurice celebrated with a lot of whisky later .
Thanks to all who came and supported the event and thanks again for the whisky.
I forgot my camera and phone battery died so no prices from me but hopefully lots from everyone else.
