Not sure what prompted Honda to develop this -

Apparently it is a production model, called the "Vultus". This is based on the NC750 platform and comes with the Dual Clutch transmission as standard.

Maybe they didn't learn their lesson with the DN01? :mockery17:

More details from Visordown.

I don't know the figures but judging from how many you see out on the street, I am sure these monstrous creatures are not Honda's best sellers.......what on earth are they thinking of.......:(

Have they built it for the remake of the film Tron?

Are you sure its 'Vultus'? I thought they announced it as 'Vulva'?[/quote]

I kinda like the looks of the DN01... I just can't for the life of me figure out who or what it's for.

I've seen a grand total of one, ever, outside of a showroom that is. So, yeah. Not a big seller.

Looks like Judge Dredds Lawmaster. I kinda like it. Though can't really see its market.

Could always chuck some aluminium panniers and tkc80's on and go from there.

There is (or was) one that used to frequent the BT research Labs down near Ipswich. But in years gone by they used to get around on unicycles and rollerskates there so not really too surprising

Every manufacturer does something like this once in a while - even one as German (sensible) as BMW

As well as a real bike my mate has one of these a commuter and he really rates it. Dead handy when he was nipping between offices to meet customers as he could keep a suit on.

IMHO this is fairly sensible as Boris' mate proves it. Honda's are not sensible and cost an arm and a leg.........maybe they should have looked at how many they sold before coming out with a second one.....
