Honda being excentric again

Every manufacturer does something like this once in a while - even one as German (sensible) as BMW

As well as a real bike my mate has one of these a commuter and he really rates it. Dead handy when he was nipping between offices to meet customers as he could keep a suit on.

BMW tried selling the C1 in car showrooms, after they could not sell them they moved them to the Motorcycle showrooms and sold out in 6 months.

I had one of the petrol powered versions of these and used it very effectively for three years going back and forth to the train station for the commute into work everyday. The pic is of the electric prototype that I hope makes it into production. They are brilliant city bikes.
