John, I'll believe it when he rocks into the paddock on the day, after spending a night in Bridgend getting a beasting from J :eekicon: :D

Turning into a nice jolly gathering, with some dirty stuff thrown in :thumbsupanim:

Hey J,

I'll be using the bike that I can throw around more readily off road ---- the old Africa Twin

To be fair, I haven't really done a lot of off road on the GS due to the crap tyres that are on her , the latest Anakees, don't rate them at all off road. Anyways, I bought the GS mainly for road work and the odd off roading ;)

Think Steve may be on the ickle Beemer, but the way that man goes through bikes, gawd only knows what he'll turn up on :D :D

Beginning to get a little excited now, seems the entries are about full

Current plan - the F658GS Twin!

If I could get the alarm removed from the F8GS, I'd think about taking it for a nice long run down the country.

But . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . gumtree is placing little voices in my head :eekicon: , so time will tell what I ride south on :D

Tick tock goes the Taffy Dakar clock

So, A German, a Scotsman and two Welshman decide to get dirty in Wales! What could possibly go wrong? :thumbsupanim:

Just a little nudge for J & Vader (I've conversed with the strange one to the west of me :D )

You should have recived an e-mail from the TD team, requesting that you logon to the TD site and enter your bike & next of kin :eekicon: details.

Team name - Caledonian Shufflebums :rolleyes2:

Is it spring time yet?

As I didn't have a definite bike up to two weeks ago I missed out on this but now I've got my new Africa Twin I could be interested in this! I threatened to do it a couple of yrs ago. I'll go look see if there's positions left.

Jim,

See pete's post below yours (and above this one :rolleyes2: ).

The TD team do offer a ticket re-sale service, but I'm sure you can come to an arrangement with Pete ;) .

If you are keen to do it, I'm planning to run down south over the course of a week, taking in some Yorkshire & Lake district trails, plus maybe some North Wales ones as well, on the way down.

TTFN,

Steve T
