Some photos from me . . . . . . .
Took our usual route south . . . . . over the Lecht and Glenshee . . . . .
Heading south at a gentle pace, we eventually found our destination . . . . . .
We made our introductions . . . . you know, the usual "
And you can feck orf as well baldy". Set up camp and watched many other riders join the throng. Many well kent faces to be found round the camp fire . . . . . .
Some faces are more well known than others - I call this one Trouble Squared
"
Call that a flame - I can fart bigger ones!"
The morning mist parts and reveals the slumbering canvas caves of the BT campers . . . . .
The Evidence, your Honour, of the nights bebauchery!!??
The Vaders leave their empties outside their palace, hoping that the "milkman" will leave full bottles
Some bikes . . . . . . all the other machines are hidden behind Stuarts HUGE ride
Mating Transalps - sweet
Just in case any visitors got lost and popped their tents up in the flower beds
TheJunction Pool on the river Tweed . . . . .
Kelso Abbey & War memorial
The Duke of Roxboroughs local home - Floors castle
Eldest & I did our own thing, ride wise, with Keilder Forest drive being our one "Must-Do" of the trip. Spotted this relic on route - Cessford castle
Did the obligatory stop on the border for this picture
And we make it - Keilder Forest Drive
After pausing on our ride over the forest drive to make a little "
dust raising" videos
, we heard a rumbling and suspected a V-Twin was heading in our direction1 How wrong were we?
The rider had decided to take a short cut . . . . . over a dirt track, with his daugther hanging onto him like a monkey onto a fruit tree - poor child
. And he still had about 5 more miles to get to the tar
A little detour on our way back to Kelso . . . . .
Bo Bo Nae Leg’s Birfday Bike
And Bo Bo heading home, ballons still attached
Great event in a great location, populated by great people.
Thanks again Andy - top job
