Well that was a really nice day - good weather, nice roads, great scenery, good coffee, and nice long chat with a very healthy looking Andy. Good result all round

Yes Austin, it really was a nice day and great to catch up. I could not believe how busy the place was when I arrived this morning. The coffee and flapjacks in that little café were good, probably made better by the sofa and armchair we had to sit on. Craig, if you are reading this I can assure you that we didn't give you a second thought. Thanks again Austin for a nice chat and an excuse to get out on the bike.

I am getting along fine Stuart, thanks for asking. Was out on the bike on Wednesday and did around 140 miles and felt good so I think the treatment has done the job.

I was at the hospital yesterday to see the consultant and the news is good. Blood platelet level is back to normal and my spleen has shrunk back no almost normal. getting a CT scan in May to confirm things and I am confident that it will be OK and I can get back to normality, whatever normal is for me.
