I live in the Netherlands, we don't do fords here unfortunately.
But yeah, the air intake is right underneath the rear rack in front of the rear shock, so about as high as you can get on this thing.
I can confirm that the low range gearbox works, and is indeed ridiculously low. I rode off thinking yeah ok that's a bit snappier in low range, turns out I was in 4th gear. Rumour has it that in low range first gear this thing will do 5 or so mph at redline, straight up a hill.
First order of business is to get it running properly, it's got a chinese carb on it that isn't right, but I've got the original carb too, just need to fix a leak. Plus small things like new battery so the electrics work (for 6V values of "work"), and a bit of heat shielding on the high exhaust so I don't burn my leg every time I'm on it.
Then ride it a bit to figure out how the hell this thing shifts. Heel-toe shifter, N-1-2-3-4 apparently but I'm still not sure if it's up or down or what. Doesn't help that it goes from 4 straight back to 1 so that needs a bit of attention when you're at speed.
Adventures in 50 year old Honda... It's such a giggle to ride though, even moody as it is right now.
