So for the past three weeks I've been managing to get around the house with a combination of my crutches and my wheelchair. The wheelchair is invaluable as it means that I can still do stuff like make a cup of tea, some lunch etc, all those things that you take for granted normally.

Unfortunately my wheelchair has been stored in my sister-in-laws garage for the past five years and now I've found out that's not good as garages are damp and solid rubber tyres don't like damp

I have been leaving little bits of rubber all over the place as the rotten tyres fall apart but this morning disaster struck and now I'm fecked as I only have three useful wheels

At least the wheel is bolted on so you have a chance of changing it.
