Lovely pics Steve, it rained most of the day here. Did you adjust that chain when you got home? :)

Well spotted Andy . . . but the chain slack is just right. I too noticed the apparent slack in the chain when I first viewed the photo, but knowing that before the start of the ride the slack was OK, it was no surprise that when I re-checked it yesterday evening, it was still within the range that I run it at.

The only reason I can think of for the sag that appears in the chain in the photo is that the bike was on an incline and I’d rolled it backwards slightly when parking it.

New Year's Day spin, 2021, the Beloved and I, responsibly masked and socially distanced on a section of The Wild Atlantic Way, less than 5km from home in West Cork, Ireland.
Hoping the Vaccines and community solidarity will eventually facilitate resumption of our former freedoms.

    Brilliant Pete,

    Your bike looks unusually clean.

I like it John, half the weight of the O/E and a nice burble to it but not too loud. Looks well made

Yeah Bob, I am hearing reports of the O/E silencer scuffing the swing arm, I would guess only on some serious off roading ? Who knows ?? o_O Fek it, I'll change it ----- just in case the opportunity arises ;):D

The fuel silencer runs just as close. Dudes who have scraped their swing arm is after a drop on that side. I (hopefully ) have alleviated that problem somewhat as the soft pannier rails I have fitted come with a brace to strengthen the silencer.
