It seems like ages since I've been out on any bike let alone the XR400 so as I had to take it for a MOT today at lunchtime I had a tiny detour

I'd forgotten how much fun that bike actually is

I've often fancied taking a run over to the island on the bike. For those that don't know there are a few hours each tide cycle where you can walk out over a footpath (when I were a lad you walked along a sewerage pipe). The place is fascinating with loads of wartime military defences. The problem is this is Cramond and as well as being frightfully posh there are so many dog walkers and strollers and is seen as a bit of a nature reserve. You wouldn't even get half way before the Police were called and would waiting for you when you returned.

    Interesting place though.
