Nothing I can say that I haven't already Russ,

you know where we are when you need us.

as for helping steering the way, get yourself to Jellies for a much needed cholesterol infusion ;)

see you when we get back from our hols

Russ, I am so very sorry. Whilst it is good to know that Mel is now at rest and out of pain, this doesn't counteract the pain and sadness that you must be feeling. If you need someone to talk to, you know where to find me. I know that the same will go for Chris too. Tea, biccies, and a listening ear always on offer.

Of course it will take time to find direction and learn to deal with this. But, as you say, you have friends and family who will help, and sooner or later you will find yourself smiling again, even if tinged with a bit of sadness. Be glad that you had the times that you did have with Mel, and know that the world is a better place for her having been here.

My thoughts are with you and all your family. Lou x x x

Along with everyone else can I give my condolences. I know it wasn't unexpected but regardless how much you prepare for such an occurrence the dawning of reality always hits hard.

Remember the good times and laugh at the daft times and never forget that what you both had was special. Very very special.

Look after yourself mate..

You know you have LOADS of friends (here and elsewhere) who would do anything for you... well almost! There's probably nothing much anyone can do, but we are here for you.

Russ, I'm stuck for words - I can only reiterate what others have said more eloquently than me: I'm very sorry to hear what's happened, and offer my sympathy and condolences. I'm thinking of you and what you are, and have been, going through. I'm not sure I can help in any practical way, but the offer's there.

regards
Huw

Deepest sympathy from Vanessa and I Russ.
It can seem like the pain and suffering continues too long but it still takes some dealing with when the inevitable happens.

Our thoughts are with you and your family
