A bucking bronco zebra.
That is quite a neat bit of footage Chris, must have been scary.

I had a sudden rear puncture at around 70, heading to Portsmouth a few years ago with V on the back, nothing anywhere like that but not something I'd want to experience again!

Oooh! that brings back some unpleasant memories, Chris. Glad you're relatively unscathed .... I hope those ribs recover quickly while you're distracted with entertaining your son.

O M G Chris, I think you were a very lucky man, you mightn't feel it at the moment but the lack of traffic was your saviour I feel. No point in me bringing the cheese & biscuits now then, heal fast sir

Scary indeed. Looks like you managed the situation well and held it together. Hope the ribs heal soon and in the meantime enjoy time with the prodigal son. :(

I'll be there 9-930 ish

According to the latest BBC weather forecast, the weather is bad till after 11.00 am then the rain subsides for a dry afternoon. We could set off then

Anglesey is drier a bit earlier for Barftone's ride

A great night out as usual with the usual suspects. Completely pished it down all night but fortunately the Vaders brought their mansion so our spirits werent dampened.
PaulS led a superb ride today on some utterly stunning little back lanes - great stuff, cheers Paul

Thanks for organising this weekend, we could do with more like it (but maybe a bit drier...) :)

No excuse for attending the North Wales soiree.
Rode back from Pembroke Dock in rain, sunshine & showers & fog over the mountain roads and thought a damp night under canvas wasn't a good idea.
So I rode home instead & saw Vaders Facebook pics of the pink tent with it's own moat which I thought summed up my damp day.
Catch up soon ish safe trip home folks.

Cheers Phil, I was wondering if you would have diverted over the Runcorn Bridge and up the M62 to ride round that storm again

I still have tingling in my fingers! The MITAS E09s are ok up to 70 mph, above that it's like riding with a jack hammer. 1 1/2 hrs at 75 + all the way home

Great ride out and great company and the weather held out for us while riding, which was nice

Nice to see everyone who went again

It's only water Paul [emoji3]
I hit it twice, one on the M56 after you turned off then it dried up, hit it again on the M6 Thelwall.
Proper rain, rain that bounces. You know, the type that gets you wet, properly wet, running down your kneck wet :)

Had some of that riding home from London Town on Tuesday

Fun isn't it

Still, it could have been worse, I could have been in the car [emoji3]

Looks like a great weekend chaps. It's been mostly sunny intervals and light showers here in the outer Hebrides. :).

Once again a brilliant weekend

I left early on friday and battled the motorways till i came off the M54. Once in wales, the setting went to sport mode and the fun began :D

I mean come on,on roads like this you got to play :cool2:

So i am wrestling the little panzer through the lanes, proper concentrating only to look up and see the 3 bike coppers standing at this lookout point. Obviosly having heard me for a while cause they just stood there with arms folded about their chests, not smiling.Since it was too late to brake and pretend so i just nodded and flucked off. :D

Having a new tent i thought i try it before dragging it up to Scotland in September. WHen i say try out i did not have in mind what happened on Friday night :eekicon: :eekicon:

New Tent :cool2:
and Lionels first time camping :D

As mentioned it chucked it down Friday night with proper wind. Not many of us slept well and the next day i had a wander about on the campsite and counted more than 10 tents wich where washed out or destroyed :eekicon:

Our well expierienced camping neighbour flucked off friday night and never returned :D

Hardcore biker Hobbit nearly broke my dog :D Lionel completly shattered getting TLC :D

Thanks to Andy(yep he is STILL alive :D )and Si for helping Deb pack up. Good to see all the other guys again

p.s. The tent is flucking A and the porch is is big enough to sit in with about 8 people but unfortunatly its not sound proof :D :D :D

Fab weekend with the select gathering, many thanks to the Vaders' for bringing there Party Tent (tent seems too small a word for it) and for all those that made it a very enjoyable time. Thanks to Tony for the scenic meandering to attend and his pit crew abilities in changing my rear inner tube (not as spectacular as Whealie's but still unnerving) :thumbsupanim: . Paul S for his high ground unlisted road circular tour & introducing us to Jenny's in Porthmadoc :respect-047: . Andy for being the constant butt of Hudder's ageist jibes :rolleyes2: . Hudders for taking the dogs away for the weekend :cool2: . Tony & Dean for being camping light weights - only joking :mockery17: Martin for experiencing the Big Trailie family feeling  Phil for sacrificing a night with Toby to not drink whisky :coffee:
