Possu lowered his for his girlfriend so she could tour S America. He did a great build thread on ADV rider and some links into HU

Bar risers to make enough space to push the forks higher up through the top yoke clamp and lowering links to drop the back end down. You can also get a seat made that is 1" lower than stock

I think Ruth and her are similar height (maybe Ruth is actually a bit taller)

That used to be my DRZ. When Pumpy test road it she had to stop near a high kerb when she'd finished otherwise she'd have fallen over.

DRZ forks are fairly trivial to lower internally too it seems. A spacer in the right place, or so I've been told by the various people sticking these forks into airhead GSes. Very popular forks, those. :)

(I've got a 2006 model front end in the shed waiting for some mine/money/inspiration. :D )

That's encouraging

The model I have has the same suspension set up as the Enduro version

The front feels OK

You can also use the seat from the 'SM' version to lower it slightly, or you can buy the SM and fit the wheels from the trail version.

That seat company you mentioned, Paul, has a lowered seat (I have been thoroughly nosing about as I really like the sound of this project).

You buy the foam and cover and can get lower, standard height or higher with options on the cover of how much grip you want

I'll have to look at this

Tony's not too far away

Did he widen the seat base (foam)?

Love it. How much do you reckon it weighs now?

And what's it like cruising the motorway?
