Oil Rigs in the Moray Firth

Whilst walking the hounds this afternoon I spotted a couple of rigs being dragged into the Moray Firth, so once the hounds were dried off I mounted the steed and headed for the coast to grab a photo.
Rode down a greasy mud & grass lane to the old coastguard lookout building located between Lossiemouth and Hopeman . . . . . .



This is a zoomed in shot showing the rigs out in the firth . . . . . they were a bit further away than I thought!



Bit of a hill to get down to the building . . . . so you can imagine the fun it was to get back up :eekicon: :thumbsupanim:

Last time I looked , there were several of them tied up for maintenance.

Sign of the times I guess :(
 
yup was driving back from ARI and it was an absolutely amazing Sky :)
