He's not one for announcing these things but I'm sure Stuart wouldn't mind me explaining the reason behind this drawing.

Stuart's wife, Monica was diagnosed about 7 months ago with terminal cancer, she sadly passed away last Saturday. Stuart asked me about a month ago if I could do a drawing of his wife and of course there was no question.

Done on A3 using graphite and here it is.

Yes it's terrible, I didn't want to say anything on here because he hadn't and felt it wasn't my place so hope he doesn't mind, too late now I suppose. :Taxii:

Derek and myself are going over next week for the funeral and I'll pass on your condolences.

Craig, that is a beautiful piece of art work, Stuart, my heart goes out to you.

You said in Kelso to keep up the artwork and I have. Others will have seen this on Facebook but I know there's lots here that don't use it.

A colour drawing of my nephew Tommy with some new colours to try out and only the second time I've used colour. Not sure it's for me, I really like drawing with graphite but it's something different.

Dave is spot on, don't waste this talent Craig bud.
My Wife thinks it is incredible !!
She met a Lady at an Art show a short time back, who will draw anything she is asked, but her main income is drawing peoples pets, apparently as they have a relatively short lifespan, and she is doing comfortably from it too.
