This just in.........

A bit later than advertised I know, :rolleyes2: but here are the pictures I promised of the powdercoated frame and fittings for the little Kwacker.

The pictures do not truly show just how great the coating is, much better than the company that did the XBR for me, and they are local to me as well. Now I suppose I had better make a start on getting the engine cleaned up. :eekicon:

Just thought I would let you all know that I have not given up/thrown away the old Kawaski. Work has progressed at a slow pace as I have been doing other things as well. Having got it all built up and running the main wait was for my Paint guy to have the time to do it. Here is a picture of the painted bike, sorry for the quality of the pic, but all I had was my phone.

With a bit of luck it will get an MOT next week and then I can enjoy the delights (?) of [strikethrough]tearing[/strikethrough] tootling about on it. :)

I drove about 12 miles on it today, to the MOT station and back, passed no problem. I just tried to tax it online but the computer says...........no! :eekicon:
Seems all this new technology is a bit slow as it does not show on the database that it passed the test this afternoon.
Anyhoo, it runs fine, nice and true so my wheel building must be OK, just need to adjust the float height as it seems to be a bit high and drops fuel when stopped. So that's it, all done, lost interest in it now and need something else to fill the coming winter days. ;) Thinking along the lines of a flatracker type build, any old Z400's or XS 650's out there? must be cheap, I am Scottish you know. :D
