This is the hardest thing I've ever had to put into words and I'm typing through tear blurred eyes

We've just been told that Rob (chewbadger) took his own life last night

We'll post more as we know it

But for now farewell brother

Robs funeral will be held at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium (B75 6LG ) on Tues 21st February at 11:00

anyone that wishes to attend will be most welcome

I can only reiterate what I have already said to Ian, I have been blessed enough to have known Rob and to have called him my friend, I shall remember many a laugh and of feeling a close bond to him, you already have been and shall always be missed buddy, very sorry we never got to have that last much needed conversation RIP

What absolutely dreadful news.

It's hard to imagine that things in life can get so bad but I guess it can.

RIP Rob and thoughts to those left behind

Phil, Vanessa & Toby

Truly shocked by this news. I only met Rob a couple of times so will miss the opportunity to have got to know him better. RIP Rob.

Always sad to hear this sort of news. I never knew Rob personally, but offer my condolences to his family and friends.

Terrible news.

Met Rob a few times, quiet unassuming chap.
Please pass on my sincere condolences to the family Ian.

I don't think that I ever met him, still sad all the same.

RIP

Wow! That's terrible news. :( Never really know what to say, but sympathies to the all friends and family at this horrible time.

Just wanted to say thanks guys

Those of us who were closest to Rob are understandably finding things tough at the moment and it means a lot to know you guys are out there and care

We're supporting the family where we can and Sam and Alex are doing as well as anyone can in these circumstances and have loved ones around them to help

Stay safe guys and tell those that are important to you how much you love them!

Never know what to say to be honest. Sympathies to the family.

We've been to see Sam and Alex today and they are both coping remarkably well under the circumstances thanks to the amazing support they have from family, friends and work colleagues

Robs funeral is expected to be in about two weeks and anyone who would like to attend and ride in with Rob is most welcome

All that we ask is if you'd like to ride please drop me a line so we have an idea of numbers

Jeez. I got confused by Facebook so checked in here for details. So sorry to hear the news. That photo, Ian, looks like it might have been at the Manchester bike show when I accommodated Big Traillie on my Zebra stand just after Big Trailie launched. I saw Rob at so many events and expected to see him at so many more it will be a big hole.
